Why This Set Matters
The POTF Cinema Scenes line was Kenner’s premium 3-pack format featuring movie-accurate scenes from the Original Trilogy. The Rebel Pilots set is highly sought after for several reasons:
- Wedge Antilles – The only X-Wing pilot besides Luke who flies in all three Original Trilogy films. Considered the best-sculpted POTF X-Wing pilot – removable helmet design with excellent paint detail.
- Ten Numb – The Sullustan B-Wing pilot from Return of the Jedi’s Death Star II battle. Niche but consistent collector demand.
- Arvel Crynyd / Green Leader – The A-Wing pilot who crashed into the Executor’s bridge. This is one of the only carded releases of this character from this era – he wasn’t released as a solo carded figure until the 2007 Legacy Collection.
